We prove that this geometric transfer coincides with Kottwitz-Shelstad transfer, adapted to the language of disconnected groups, assuming the local Langlands correspondence satisfying certain desiderata, including the Kazhdan-Lusztig hypothesis for the ambient group and its endoscopic groups.
